How It Works
Getting started with your virtual mailbox is simple. Follow these three steps and you'll be managing your mail digitally in no time.
Select Your Plan
Choose the plan that best fits your needs. Our plans are designed based on:
- Mail Volume: How much mail do you typically receive? Choose a plan that accommodates your expected volume.
- Authorized Users: Will multiple family members or employees need access? Select a plan with the right number of users.
- Features: Consider what services you need most - scanning, forwarding, shredding, and more.
Complete USPS Form 1583
This is a required USPS form that authorizes us to receive mail on your behalf. Here's what you need to know:
- What It Is: PS Form 1583 is a USPS requirement for all Commercial Mail Receiving Agencies (CMRAs). It's a legal document that grants us permission to accept your mail.
- ID Verification: You'll need to provide two forms of identification. We'll guide you through the verification process online.
- Instant Address: Once your Form 1583 is approved, you'll receive your new virtual address immediately and can start using it right away.
Note: This is a one-time process. Once completed, you won't need to do it again unless you change your mailing address.
Submit Mail Forwarding Request
The final step is to let the Post Office know you want your mail sent to your new virtual address:
- Change of Address: Submit a change of address form with USPS to forward your mail from your current address to your new virtual mailbox address.
- Update Contacts: Don't forget to update your address with banks, subscriptions, and other important contacts for the best experience.
- Start Receiving: Once forwarding is set up, we'll receive your mail and notify you as items arrive. Manage everything from your dashboard.
Note: After submitting your mail forwarding request, the Post Office will send a single mail piece with a confirmation code to your new virtual address. You'll need to log into your dashboard and enter this code to complete the verification process.
